Is The Information Economy Delivering On Its Promise?
Friday, 21st Nov 2008 | 7:00 pm
The pundits tell us that we’re living in the ‘information economy’. The reality is that we’re suffering from a serious information glut: too much information following too few users. What is truly scarce is ‘attention’. Anyone who tries to control or sell information is doomed to fail. People who understand ‘attention’, and know how to channel it – will be the real winners.
TiE Karachi welcomes you to a session of open dialogue on the future of information and attention. Our goal is to engage entrepreneurs, developers and students and build a community of learning, sharing and cooperation in Karachi.
The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) is a global non-profit organization focused on promoting entrepreneurship. Established in 1992 by entrepreneurs from Silicon Valley, TiE, over the years, has grown into a vibrant and professional voluntary organization dedicated to the advancement of entrepreneurship. TiE Karachi is committed to supporting a new generation of aspiring entrepreneurs by providing platforms for learning, networking, and mentoring.
