Asim Butt was an artist, activist, and friend who enriched our lives with his talent, wit, and irrepressible spirit. Asim left us a year ago but he remains larger-than-life; on his Facebook page, on the streets of Karachi, and in our hearts.
In 2009, Asim went on a graffiti trip through Pakistan. On the first anniversary of his passing, join us for a rough cut screening of the film that tells the story of Asim’s 1200 mile journey from Karachi to Islamabad.
“I paint to create what it is I want to see, to fill an absence in the world”.
